Rev. Simon Gales

Simon is married, with two children. Hes been vicar at St Johns since 1997, having previously been a curate in Carlisle. Before ordination, he was a Civil Engineer, working on construction sites and in a design office for about 10 years. Having been born and bred in Cheshire, he and the family enjoy living in Wilmslow and being involved in the local community.

Likes: Sailing, walking, eating out, and is above all passionate about helping others to know Jesus.
Dislikes: Aubergine.

Nathan Phillingham (Youth Worker)

Nathan moved to St Johns in December 2001. Originally from Chester, he married Jo in 1999, and had their first child last August. Nathan is an out-going, over-competitive Gen X-er, who likes doing youthwork because it's fun.

Paul Kerry (Lay Assistant)

This is my first venture up to the north of England, originally from the Reading area I am enjoying settleling into fine company and excellent landscape. My wife and I are excited to be here at St. John's and are thrilled to be serving God's people and sharing the good news of Jesus with people who do not yet know him.
